Certified Baby Sleep Consultant, Complex Case Expert, Famous 2 Week Sleep Solutions
After years working as a nanny in London and Sydney, I thought I was more than ready for motherhood. But when my first son was born in 2008, I quickly realised that caring for your own baby is a completely different experience. No book, blog or late-night Google search can truly prepare you for those early months.
That humbling (and very sleep-deprived!) time sparked a passion that eventually grew into a career I genuinely love.
In 2014, I founded The Sleep Centre and became a qualified Baby and Child Sleep Consultant through the International Maternity and Parenting Institute in the USA. Since then, I’ve completed advanced studies in infant sleep, trained as a Happiest Baby on the Block educator, and continued developing my expertise through professional courses.
Today, alongside private consultations and weekly podcasts, I mentor sleep consultants around the world and have supported more than 1,000 families across Australia and internationally.
I help families uncover the “why” behind sleep challenges and provide practical, science-backed strategies that deliver real results — tailored to your child and your comfort level.
I believe that every family deserves a clear, personalised, and achievable path to better sleep.
Over more than 11+ years in the industry, I’ve developed a practical approach to improving sleep that focuses on the bigger picture.
Around 75% of successful sleep outcomes begin with optimising the day — things like milk feeds, mealtimes, naps, sleep pressure, the sleep environment and bedtime routines.
The remaining 25% comes from using a sleep training technique that suits your baby and aligns with your parenting style.
When those pieces come together, that’s when real sleep change happens.

I am a proud member of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants which is an organisation dedicated to supporting Professional Sleep Consultants by promoting and upholding the highest level of excellence and industry standards for professional sleep consulting throughout the world.
I am committed to ongoing learning, upholding safe practise and ensuring parents and children receive the help, care and sleep that they deserve.
Hosted by Bec Maher (The Sleep Centre) and Sally Woods (The Sleep Concierge), this podcast helps parents understand the “why” behind baby sleep with practical strategies and expert insights.
